Jumpers & Shearling

I love winter outfits, when chunky knits keep you warm and coats are the outfit that everyone sees first.  The colours get darker and who doesn’t love faux fur hats! For me there is more to do in the colder months; Bonfire Night, a trip to Winter Wonderland and the Christmas Lights switch on, I can’t wait to get back and socialise over hot chocolate and candy apples. November is in autumn, which means it is still acceptable to flash a bit of skin  without people thinking you are crazy and don’t dress appropriately for winter. So these thigh high boots are perfect and they look more expensive than they were! I fell in love once I’d laid my eyes on them and they are very warm! The beige colour is a contrast to the darker coloured boots, whereas the shearling detail is a nod to the shearling trend this season. As they are beige I wanted to keep the colours neutral, so I wore this big knit grey jumper. If you feel the cold then layer up under the jumper and if it is too cold after that, then throw on a grey coat. For accessories, again I didn’t want them to stand out so I wore different shades of grey with the bag and snood.
